Charlestown Police Department is presently


accepting

Administrative / Accreditation Assistant. Starting wage is
$21.00 /hour with weekly schedule not to exceed nineteen (19) hours
per week.

Eligible
applicants must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and be able
to successfully complete a


pre-employment
background check. They must possess a minimum of a high school
diploma or GED with some college or previous training and/or
experience as a


secretary
or administrative assistant preferred. Qualified candidates must
possess strong organizational and communication skills. Duties will
include conducting research on agency policy and training needs,
basic record keeping and filing, data entry and analysis,


editing
documents, maintaining training records and training programs.
Additional duties may include

assisting
in purchasing, scheduling and background checks as needed.

PowerPoint; and be


willing
to learn additional programs and participate in agency training as
necessary. A positive attitude and the ability to work cooperatively
with others is a must.
