POSITION SUMMARY The position will be responsible for electrical maintenance, repair, and installation of a variety of production and support equipment as well as perform typical industrial electrical work. 

 

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain and repair PLC and/or relay controlled equipment as well as associated sensors, switches, interfaces, drives and other peripheral devices


• Maintain and repair AC, DC, and servo drives and motors


• Maintain and repair other electrical, electronic and electro-mechanical devices


• Maintain and repair all single and 3 phase electrical building systems


• Install and troubleshoot new equipment


• Install electrical feeds to new or relocated equipment


• Coordinate electrical maintenance and repair performed by outside contractors 

 

SECONDARY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure key spare part inventories are maintained


• Ensure all schematics, drawings, manuals are maintained


• Assist maintenance mechanics in the repair of hydraulic/pneumatic/mechanical problems


• Maintain preventive and predictive maintenance records 

 EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years’ experience performing industrial equipment installation, maintenance and repair


• Electrical license and/or relevant technical education


• Familiar with all associated safety and NE code rules and regulations
