PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Required to perform all tasks pertaining to all facets of set-up and operation of industrial sewing machines, including the following: ? Sew material using Industrial Sewing Machines. ? Sew to production sample, follow product guides, and observe stitching to detect defects.  ? Inspect finished product for quality control. ? Make minor machine adjustment. ? Perform routine machine maintenance. 2. Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations and maintain departmental housekeeping standards. Employees are to spend the first 10 minutes of every day at the beginning, after lunch and before leaving to clean and sanitize their area. 3. Update ERP system with job information (punch in and out of jobs accurately and timely). 4. Promote and contribute to a continuous improvement culture. 5. Other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS 1. Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required, which are normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent. 2. Ability to read, write, and understand instruction detail written and communicated in English. 3. Prior industrial sewing experience preferred. 4. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds required.
